Twain is a personal trainer, specialising in strength and conditioning, as well as a rehabilitative specialist certified in Deep Tissue therapy. He delved into health and fitness in his teens, having picked up bodybuilding from his father in an effort to develop his then underdeveloped frame. Since then, he has further educated himself on anything related to fitness and weight training (including nutrition and rehabilitation). He is also a competitive powerlifter, as well as a founding member of the Singapore Powerlifting Alliance.

Twain works with a relatively diverse clientele whose goals include sports performance, rehabilitation and aesthetics. He believes in continual education to stay up to date with strength, fitness and nutritional research and their applications. He strongly advocates progressive training and consistency in execution for optimal results.

His philosophy for training is very simple – educate one’s self, train hard and share the results!

After a health scare at the young age of 17, Clinton started on his journey to get fit and strong. This began with an interest in aesthetics and led to a passion for gaining strength and eventually, the sport of Powerlifting. He diligently studies different training methods and diets to ensure that he continues to be strong and healthy.

As he continues to focus on strength training in the form of strongman and powerlifting, Clinton also transitioned into a competitive athlete and enjoys coaching and guiding other aspiring strongman and powerlifting athletes too. No one expected him to get here but Clinton is now the Juniors U-93 powerlifting champion and is hungry to represent Singapore in the sport.

While many aspiring athletes have fitness idols and sportsmen they look up to, Clinton believes that it is important for one to attain a healthy dosage of self-confidence, to be the best version of themselves, instead of emulating others’ successes.
